CT Man Found Dead In Car In Walmart Parking Lot
A 30-year-old man was found dead in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Connecticut Walmart. The incident occurred in New London County on Monday, April 1 at the Walmart at 155 Waterford Parkway North in Waterford. According to Chief Marc Balestracci, of the Waterford Police Department, the department responded after receiving 911 calls regarding the unresponsive man. A father was arrested after police said he drove drunk down a Connecticut road with his young daughter in the passenger seat, police said. The Fairfield County incident occurred in Wilton on Friday, March 29. At approximately 1:30 a.m. that morning, 45-year-old Eduard Abukhovich was speeding, driving his gray 2022 Volvo XC90 north on Route 7 (Danbury Road) when he was pulled over. Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses after a 53-year-old man was struck and killed while walking in the travel lanes of I-91. The crash occurred in North Haven around 9:15 p.m., Monday, April 1 on I-91 northbound adjacent to Exit 9. A bacterial infection is appearing nationally with unusual and serious symptoms according to federal authorities.
