Bus Driver From Brewster Arraigned On Child Sex Charges

BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Michael Cunningham, a 68-year-old Brewster resident and former a school bus driver, has been charged with four felony counts of first-degree sexual abuse, four counts of second-degree sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor, misdemeanors after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 6-year-old boy, according to a report by LoHud.com.

After a search of his home, Cunningham was also charged with an additional five felony counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, after police found child pornography, according to the report. 

Additional charges are possible, according to police, the report said. 

Police are requesting parents whose children may have had interaction with Cunningham to contact the assistant district attorney Danielle Pascale at 845-808-1050, the report said. 

Cunningham was indicted by a grand jury in September, according to the report.
