In the weeks following a devastating Hudson Valley, NY motorcycle crash that both killed a beloved father and critically injured a popular local musician from Connecticut, community members have raised over $100,000 to make sure their families receive the help they need.
The crash, which happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 29, on Route 22 near 5761 Route 22 in the Dutchess County town of North East, killed Morris, CT resident Tim Nurnberg and severely injured CT-based blues musician Eran Troy Danner.

Parents are the top role models for children ages 4 to 12, according to a survey published Thursday, July 9, by Talker Research and commissioned by Kiddie Academy.
The survey of 2,000 parents found that children are most likely to look up to people in their everyday lives, according to Talker Research on behalf of Kiddie Academy.

Police in Connecticut have arrested two juvenile suspects in connection with the deadly shooting outside a Waterbury nightclub over the July Fourth weekend.
Trevon Dunbar, 22, and Zaniya Dawkins, 18, both of Waterbury, were shot outside LA 42 Night Club in Waterbury just after midnight on Sunday, July 5, police said. Both were taken to area hospitals, where Dunbar died Monday, and Dawkins succumbed to her wounds Tuesday.
