Daycare Workers Abused 2 Children In Hackensack, Prosecutor Says
Two teachers' assistants physically abused two children at a Hackensack daycare center, authorities allege.
Deily E. Perez, of the Bronx, and Chillyann V. Spencer, of Paterson, were each charged with two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
The investigation began on Friday, Sept. 11, when the Division of Child Protection & Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit about the alleged physical assault of two juveniles at a Hackensack daycare center, authorities said.

A Wyckoff man has been jailed on multiple sexual assault charges stemming from an alleged attack on an adult victim, authorities said.
Abdalwali A. Alsaidi, of Wyckoff, was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and one count of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

NYU Langone, Upmc To End Gender-Affirming Care For Minors In DOJ Deals
Two major New York and Pennsylvania health systems will stop providing gender-affirming medical care to minors under agreements reached with the US Department of Justice, federal officials announced Friday, Sept. 18.
NYU Langone Hospitals and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, or UPMC, agreed to stop providing puberty blockers, hormones, and surgical procedures to patients younger than 18, according to the DOJ.
NYU also agreed to pay $8.5 million, while UPMC will pay $950,000 as part of the resolutions, the department said.
