Gala Supports Putnam Hospital Breast Center CARMEL, N.Y. --  One of the guests at the annual Foundation for Putnam Hospital Center gala Oct. 22 was so moved after listening to a presentation that he donated $100,000. Anthony Rutledge made the impromptu donation following a short video shown about the hospital Breast Center's journey to accreditation. Rutledge, formerly of Carmel, told how his wife is a breast cancer survivor who was treated at Putnam Hospital Center.  “Congratulations and thank you for all of your great work.
