Taconic Parkway Ramp Closure Scheduled
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of an upcoming ramp closure on the Taconic State Parkway. The Department says that an exit ramp closure is scheduled for the Taconic State Parkway southbound at Exit 43A (Route 82 northbound) in the Dutchess County town of East Fishkill. The ramp is scheduled to close Thursday, Oct. 31 and Friday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting. I-84 Reopens After Rollover Tractor-Trailer Crash
A stretch of I-84 has now fully reopened about 10 hours after a rollover tractor-trailer crash. The crash happened on Wednesday, Oct. 30 just before dawn westbound in East Fishkill between Exit 58 (Ludingtonville Road) and Exit 52 (the Taconic State Parkway). The left lane reopened around 10 a.m. The right lane reopened at around 2:30 p.m. A detour had been established at the Stormville rest area. There were heavy delays in the area throughout the morning commute.

Road Closures Announced During Taconic Parkway Pudding Street Overpass Project
A $28.9 million project for a new bridge over the Taconic State Parkway at the Pudding Street intersection in Putnam Valley has started. A new bridge has been pushed by state and local officials at the dangerous intersection dating back more than a decade.
