Grace Farms Sets Sharon Prince Lecture, Concert For Jan. 10
Grace Farms will host its CEO and founder, Sharon Prince, for a lecture and chamber music concert on Saturday, Jan. 10, running from 3 to 5 p.m.
The event is framed around a central question, “What does it take to build a more equitable world?” according to the program’s registration listing.
Prince’s talk will explore how individuals can help build a better, more just world, as stated in the event listing, and will draw on her work creating Grace Farms as a place that brings together culture, nature, and community, per Grace Farms' announcement on Facebook.

A Massachusetts community is mourning the sudden death of a 35-year-old teacher who died unexpectedly over the weekend.
Ashley Figueroa, a fifth-grade teacher at Lowell Collegiate Charter School, died Saturday, Dec. 20. Loved ones have not released a cause of death.
One of 10 children, Figueroa leaves behind a large family, including brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

High Winds Damaged Menorah, Not Criminal Mischief: East Brunswick PD
A menorah on display in East Brunswick was recently damaged, but authorities said Sunday, Dec. 21, no criminality was at play.
Upon being aware of damage to the menorah at the East Brunswick municipal complex at 1 Jean Walling Civic Center, officers immediately initiated an investigation to determine the cause, East Brunswick police said.
After examining the menorah, meeting with Parks Department employees and reviewing available video surveillance, officers determined the damage was caused by abnormally high winds, not by criminal mischief or any intentional act, police said.

Butler and the Board, at 103 Forest St. in Montclair, announced on social media its closure, with the charcuterie's last day being Tuesday, Dec. 30.
