Clorox Recalls Pine-Sol Cleaners Due To Infection-Causing Bacteria
Parent company Clorox is recalling eight Pine-Sol disinfectant cleaning products due to fears they may contain infection-causing bacteria, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. To date, testing has identified bacteria in certain recalled products, including those produced between January 2021 and September 2022. Clorox produced approximately 37 million recalled products in that period, the CPSC said. 17-Year-Old Girl Nabbed For Knifepoint Robbery Of Taxi Driver On Long Island
An investigation into the armed robbery of a taxi driver on Long Island led to the arrest of a 17-year-old girl, police announced. On Dec. 8, 2021, in Riverhead, police said that a driver was robbed at knifepoint by a woman in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree on Old Country Road. A spokesperson from the Riverhead Police Department said that a teen suspect - whose name has not been released - was arrested on Tuesday, May 24 by members of the Detective Division following a lengthy investigation into the robbery. Recall Issued For Hot Glue Guns Due To Fire, Burn Hazards
More than a million glue guns sold nationwide at dollar stores are being recalled due to concerns of fire and burn hazards, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced. A total of approximately 1,025,000 Crafter’s Square Glue Guns sold at Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores sold between August 2020 and February 2022 are being voluntarily recalled after complaints were made by consumers. Brick police made a number of drug arrests, including one involving a bicyclist. On March 2 at approximately 10:15 p.m. Ptl. Morgan Murphy observed an erratic driver on Brick Boulevard. Police in Fairfield County are looking to identify a bow-legged man who robbed multiple cell phone stores at gunpoint in the same neighborhood in the past few weeks.
