An 18-year-old killed earlier this week after crashing into a FedEx truck will be remembered for "making every moment brighter," his family said.
Christopher Guallpa-Lema, 18, of Danbury, was killed when he crashed his motorcycle into the back of the delivery truck on Hawleyville Road in Newtown Monday evening, April 26, police said.
Along with his parents, Luis Ignacio Guallpa Lema and Zoila Mercedes Lema, he leaves behind two sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.

Two men were killed in a crash on Ewing that occurred earlier this week, authorities said.
At 7:25 a.m., on Tuesday, March 10, officers responded to Route 29 and Route 175 after a Nissan 370Z, driven by Jaysen Young, a 31-year-old Hamilton Twp resident, was traveling northbound on Route 29 when it collided with a Ford Focus turning left, Ewing police said.
Kyle Alleger, the driver of the Ford Focus and a 26-year-old Ewing resident, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Young was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead the next day, police said.

Guilford Firefighter, Veteran Who 'Lived Life With Intensity, Heart' Killed In I-95 Crash
Authorities have identified a 32-year-old Connecticut firefighter as the motorcyclist who died in a crash on I-95 in Guilford late last week.
Michael Terrio, of Killingworth, a member of the Guilford Fire Department, was riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 when he crashed into the back of a Volvo near Exit 59 southbound on Friday, Aug. 22, around 8:45 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.
Paramedics took Terrio to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Volvo’s driver, a 66-year-old man from Freehold, New Jersey, sustained minor injuries in the collision.
