Thousands Without Power In NJ
Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power as of 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, following gusty winds that swept the region overnight. The JCP&L map shows the following areas were in the dark: Hunterdon County: 3,953 customers Morris County: 3,642 customers Warren County: 3,594 customers Restoration times were not immediately available. Thursday will be partly sunny with a high near 40 and wind chill values between 20 and 30, the National Weather Service said. Friday, March 1 will be sunny with a high of 47. Storm Knocks Power To Thousands In North Jersey
Thousands of residents in northern New Jersey were without power as of Tuesday, Feb. 13 amid the snow storm that dropped several inches on the region. The JCP&L outage map shows 2,390 had no power in Warren County, mainly in Harmony Twp., Lopatcong, Phillipsburg, Pohatcong, and White Township as of 11:35 a.m. In Somerset County, nearly 900 residents had no power, mostly in Branchburg (790). Nearly 1,500 Hunterdon County residents were also in the dark. Those residents without power are mainly residents of Clinton, Holland, Lebanon, and Readington. Restoration times varied.

North Jersey residents are feeling the impact of this week's storm with thousands still without power and schools closed or delayed. Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power as of Tuesday evening, Jan. 9, as the storm intensified. A State of Emergency ordered by Gov. Phil Murphy went into effect at 5 p.m., with state and local officials urging residents to stay off the roads. Thousands Without Power In NJ Following Tropical Storm Ophelia
Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power Sunday, Sept. 24, after Tropical Storm Ophelia. Nearly 13,000 residents were without power Saturday, Sept. 23, but as of Sunday morning, that number was down to approximately 4,000. Tractor-Trailer Takes Down Pole On Jersey Shore
A tractor-trailer took down a pole and wires in Marlboro, authorities said. The crash on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 30, closed Harbor Road between Route 79 and Tennent Road, Marlboro police said. There were power outages reported in the area and JCP&L had been notified. A detour will be in place shortly, police said at about 2 p.m. Please avoid the area if possible, police said.

Thousands Without Power In Warren County
Thousands of Warren County residents were without power Tuesday morning, August 22, authorities said. According to JCP&L, nearly 8,500 of Warren County’s approximately 52,500 customers had lost electricity as of 8 a.m. Hackettstown was experiencing the highest number of outages with nearly 3,900 (77 percent), with Allamuchy Township at more than 2,500 (97 percent).
