1 Dead, 1 Injured In Luxury Car Crash On Garden State Parkway
One person died and another was hospitalized with serious injuries in a crash on the Garden State Parkway early Monday morning. A Range Rover and Lexus crashed in the southbound lanes near milepost 136.3 in Clark around 2:40 a.m., New Jersey Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. The driver of the Range Rover was taken to University Hospital in serious condition and the driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead at Rahway Hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

A 12-year-old Queens boy and his 7-year-old cousin were found at a rest stop at the New Jersey/Delaware border after taking their parents' SUV on a joy ride Monday, authorities said. Police in Morris County are looking for clues after locating a crashed Mercedes determined to be stolen Monday morning, authorities said. Two Black men wearing all black were seen running from a Mercedes that had been crashed on Mountain Avenue in Long Hill Township Monday morning, local police said. The men then fled in a black Range Rover bearing the NJ registration F43MXA, police said. Both vehicles were found to be reported stolen from Northern NJ, authorities said. The Southampton Town Police Department issued an alert stating that in the past few months, local residents in Bridgehampton to Westhampton have reported their luxury vehicles stolen overnight. Police are investigating a Range Rover that was stolen outside a home in Westchester.
