Fugitive Fights Deputies, Flushes Evidence At Stafford Jail, Sheriff Says
A robbery suspect turned a Virginia motel into a crime scene — then tried to flush the evidence after landing in jail, authorities said.
Dion Parker, 25, of Callao, was arrested early Friday, April 25, after deputies tracked him to the Super 8 Motel on Warrenton Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
Parker was allegedly connected to a recent robbery in a neighboring jurisdiction and had previously fled Stafford deputies during a 2024 case.
When deputies found him at around 5 a.m., they say Parker was intoxicated and immediately became combative.

On Nov. 14, 2021, Rodney Williams robbed a store in Jersey City at gunpoint, US Attorney Alina Habba said. Soon after, Williams, accompanied by Siobhan Chandler, demanded money from a gas station, Habba said. At 9:14 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of MacClelland Avenue for an armed robbery and a shooting, Glassboro police said. A Nutley man under the influence of crack cocaine allegedly assaulted a motel worker, stole their keys, and charged at police officers responding to a 9-1-1 call in Lyndhurst, authorities said.
The incident happened Thursday, April 17, at the Winslow Motel on Rutherford Avenue around 7:30 p.m., according to Detective Capt. Vincent Auteri of the Lyndhurst Police Department.
