On Sunday, March 5, 2023, Milton Chogllo choked and beat his wife, 32-year-old Christina Leon, outside their home on Bergen Street in Newark, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said. Leon's 14-year-old daughter witnessed the attack and testified against Chogllo , Stephens said. Leon was six months pregnant at the time, Stephens said.
