Drivers With Eerily Similar Names Among Three Dead In Stafford Crash
Police released the names of three people who died on Sunday, May 29, in a head-on collision in Stafford that shut down a road for several hours.
Tamarr Williams, 38, of Woodbridge, lost control of his 1995 Lexus and veered into oncoming traffic on Austin Ridge Drive around 7:30 p.m., the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
The car struck a northbound Hyundai Elantra driven by Tamara Williams, 27, of Fredericksburg. The drivers were not related.
Andrea Forte, 35, of Stafford, who was a passenger in the Lexus, also died in the collision, deputies said.

21-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Reservoir In Greenburgh, Police Say
A 21-year-old motorist died after crashing into a reservoir in the region.
Westchester resident Andrew D. Akroush, age 21, of Yonkers, was killed around 4:30 a.m., Sunday, March 13 on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh.
New York State Police responded to a 911 call regarding a car in the Grassy Sprain Reservoir, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
An initial investigation determined, Akroush, who was driving a 2017 Lexus RX 350 southbound on the Sprain Brook Parkway, crashed through the center guard rail on the parkway for unknown reasons, Hicks said.
