Missing Cat Found Near Putnam/Dutchess Border Volunteers in Putnam County are hoping for the community’s assistance as they attempt to reunite a lost cat with its family. On Wednesday, a black and white cat was found in Holmes, near the Putnam-Dutchess county line, which has since been taken to the Putnam Humane Society for evaluation and safekeeping. The black cat has white whiskers and a large white patch on his chest.
